Changes in the Midwest Tours
September 6, 2008 10:42 AM
Hi Everybody,
We have some immediate last minute show news and date changes for Acoustic Archery. The Kansas City, Duluth and Sioux Falls shows have all been postponed to early next year (looks like mid-February at this point.) We are about to announce a major addition to Acoustic Archery with one of the foremost American guitar players joining the tour as a very, very special headliner and we want to bring him through these cities and it would be difficult to come through twice in 4 months or so. Details and the full announcement will be made in just a few days. Tickets can be returned to the venue for a full refund and we'll be sad to not see you all this coming week. We will be seeing you all very soon with an amazing show. Thank you for your continued support and interest.
Warmest Regards,
The entire Acoustic Archery family.

Sault Ste. Marie - my half of the Don Ross/Andy McKee duo show is last minute cancel - I am very sorry to say...
July 3, 2008 10:00 AM
Hey everyone on their way to Sault Ste. Marie for tonight's (July 3, 2008) show... the travel gods have me sitting in the Kansas City airport (its 10 in the morning) with no way to get to play in Sault Se Marie tonight. I drove an hour and half at 4:30 this morning to catch my flight and forgot my passport. Even if I am just traveling to Chicago or Denver, I always take my passport. I was just too tired and absent minded this morning. The flight I booked had me going through Toronto then to Sault Ste. Marie and I was hopeful that I could still make it, but it wasn't possible. So I missed my flight, but with the 4th of July on a Friday this year, apparently every airline is sold out within hundreds of miles of the venue. As you might guess, I am seriously bummed about missing the gig. I understand many people are coming from a long distance and I want you each to know this means a lot to me - so missing a show at the last minute is a very tough thing for me.
Here's the latest:
My good friend and mentor Don Ross is still on for tonight. As such, your ticket is still good for tonight and you'll get to see Don's amazing show
You can get a full refund if you desire
I am actively rescheduling the show for a late November/early Dec makeup date
To those who hold a ticket for the show tonight and come to the makeup date I will present to you a 3 song disc called July 3 Sault Ste. Marie for those who had made the effort to come to tonight's gig.
Your support means everything to the me and my music. Write me if this impacts you in any way.
Yours truly,
Andy

Taping Policy
April 13, 2008 5:17 PM
Hi All, nice to see you at the shows. Just wanted to share my taping policy for live shows. Its real similar to the Dead policy of live taping for personal use (non commercial) via non-board mix. I'm committed to open sharing of these shows and to the wider community of music fans found any where around the globe, but I ask that you respect my policy to not engage in any commercial or commerce driven components related to my music or other media. Thanks, Andy. See you all on the road!
